The Registration for PMSSS was started on 18 June 2024 to 22 July 2024. Those students of Jammu & Kashmir whose need of financial support for their studies can apply for the PMSSS 2024-25.
The online registration of PMSSS 2024-25 has started now and its deadline for the registration is 22 July 2024. This scheme is offered to the candidates to pursue the degree and their diploma courses outside the Jammu & Kashmir.
Student’s admission is allocation of seats in the Engineering stream only, and the merit list will be displayed on the AICTE portal for the eligible candidates. Interested candidates can register on the basis of their 12th or Diploma.
Who is eligible for PMSSS 2024-25 Registration?
There are eligibility criteria for the PMSSS 2024-25 registration:
- You should be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir.
- You must have passed the 12th examination from the JKBOSE or CBSE located in Jammu & Kashmir.
- Your family income should be less than or equal to Rs. 8,00,000 per annum.
- You must have to pass a Diploma in Engineering from the Polytechnic institutes by the DTE and Jammu & Kashmir.
- Students who qualify the entrance examination from NEET/JEE are eligible.
How to apply for PMSSS 2024-25 Registration?
Candidates can apply for the PMSSS 2024-25 by online visiting the official website of AICTE before the deadline. You have to carry all the documents during the registration.
There are steps to apply for PMSSS 2024-25 registration:
- Visit the official website of aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in/.
- Then click on the PMSSS 2024-25 Registration tab.
- Then click on the Registration for 12th Passed.
- Then enter your personal information such as 12th roll number, your mother’s name, your name, father’s name, your year of passing, your board name and your aadhar card number.
- After that enter your family annual income and your resident proof.
- Then you can see the options of registrations for such as CUET, NEET, JEE, you have to choose one of these.
- After choosing you have to enter your mobile number, email id and password.
- Click on the Register then you will receive an email.
- After registration visit the official website and Sign- In using your email ID and password.
- Then you can see your personal details.
- Then upload the mandatory documents and click on the Save & Upload button.
- Now click on the Submit Application tab.
- After the successful submission you have to take a printout of the application form.
- This copy of the application should be carried to the document verification centre with the other documents.

- Your 10th Standard mark sheet
- Your 12th standard mark sheet

Things that keep in your mind while PMSSS 2024-25 Registration
There are the important things that you have to keep in your mind while PMSSS 2024-25 registration:
- A merit list of the candidates is based on their application data.
- This list will be displayed online of the counselling process.
- You have to carry all the documents during the registration.
- Counselling will be done by the online mode and candidates will be allotted seats based on their merit and their choice.
- Those candidates who are allotted a seat then need to confirm their seats with the confirmation letter.
- Those in the process of this list can take part in the selection process.
- Those candidates who have confirmed their seats need to upload the joining report from the student login.
- These reports must be uploaded before the deadline for the successful consideration for the PMSSS.
- The joining report uploaded by the candidate should be online verified by the institute login.
- The institute also needs to verify your bank details and aadhar number.
